My name is Brian Lerwick. I am the coach for the RoboHackerz. I enjoy flying and anything to do with planes. I also enjoy home construction projects. I joined robotics 5 years ago after seeing a qualifier in Michigan and getting hooked. My favorite part about robotics is helping the team members address the game challenges using science and engineering principles.
My name is Aaron. This is my second year as a mentor after being on the team for two years. I enjoy playing video games and programming electronics. I have been interested in engineering ever since I was a kid. The RoboHackerz and FIRST in general has been an eye-opener into the world of engineering.
My name is Dylan Ziegler and I grew up on a small family farm in Cross Plains, WI. I am employed at Beaver Dam High School as a Biology and Physics teacher. This is my thrid year helping the Robohackerz in their robot building adventure! My joys are watching the engineering and physics principles being applied outside of the classroom in the real world and watching the team members teaching/working with each other.
My name is Glenn, I work as a Project Engineer for Lyco Manufacturing in Columbus, WI. I have two degrees, one in Mechanical Design and another in Information Technology and Management. I decided to come and see what got my son, Colin excited about engineering and decided to see what I could offer the other members. My favorite part of FIRST is seeing the ideas of the students become reality both in 3D CAD using CREO and on the Robot.
My name is Rob and I am an Electrical Engineer at John Deere Horicon Works designing electrical system for riding lawn equipment. This is my fourth year with Robohackerz. A co-worker got me interested in the FIRST program and got me hooked. Some of my other interests include gardening, doing Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs), reading science fiction, working on my house and tinkering, making spinning wheels out of furniture graded PBC pipe
